光伏車棚模塊化的設計，方便于單個或者多個組合在一起使用，有利于擴大運用，組成幾個車位甚至幾百個車位，具有較強的靈活性。要是采用普通的電池板，整體造價比較低。如果裝機容量較大，那么收益率就會比較高，回本的周期比較短。

光伏車棚作為一種新型的發電方式，是未來發展的趨勢，早安裝就會比較早受益。支架系統、電池組件陣列、照明及控制逆變系統、充電裝置系統和防雷及接地系統共同組成光伏車棚。車棚光伏支架系統主要包括支撐立柱、固接在支撐立柱之間的斜梁、接在斜梁上用于支撐太陽電池組件陣列的檁條及固定電池組件陣列的緊固件等。

The support system, battery module array, lighting and control inverter system, charging device system, and lightning protection and grounding system jointly form the photovoltaic shed. 在每個車棚下方會裝上匯流箱，位于車棚頂端的太陽能電板是通過匯流箱將吸收的電量統一收納，再通過傳輸到逆變器將直流電變為交流電，然后輸送至電網里面，完成發電。

A junction box will be installed below each carport, and the solar panels located at the top of the carport will collect the absorbed electricity through the junction box. Then, they will be transmitted to the inverter to convert DC electricity into AC electricity, which will be transmitted to the power grid to complete power generation.
